WWYD or AIBU lunch

A friend was meant to meet up with me today. She has a month old baby. I have a DD who is 14months. Really looking forward to meeting up.

Except she txt me saying she was meeting up with another friend with 2 year old for lunch , would I like to join them?

I'm a bit annoyed. My DD goes to the childminder at 1pm so I can't really meet for lunch or if I so it'll be a complete rush. My DD is at awkward stage of not walking independently so she'll be stuck in buggy over lunch time (unless we go to somewhere with high chair)

Wwyd? AIBU?

This is a prime example of why you shouldn't be teaching atm - if you are so stressed about such a simple thing, a class full of unpredictable kids must be hell on earth!

Confused

You are turning it into one big headache! Is decision making always this difficult for you?

bedmonster · 25/10/2012 14:25

Blimey you sound very uptight. Are you usually this high maintenance or is there something else bothering you? In any case, its great that you decided to bite the bullet and take your dd out for lunch, even if you didn't get that far. If you learn to relax a little you'll begin to love going out for lunch together.

bedmonster · 25/10/2012 14:27

Can I just say when I called you high maintenance I didn't mean to come across as judgemental, just if seems a bit of an overreaction. Do you have general anxiety worries?

cheekypickle · 25/10/2012 14:29

Yes I'm very anxious

I've forgotten how to have fun, it's like a vicious cycle

Do you tell your counsellor any of this?

cheekypickle · 25/10/2012 14:31

I'm tired all the time

Yes she said wait for physiologist review on Tuesday

It can take ages to get the right dose of medication, you sound utterly miserable from your posts and I'm stunned you went back to work so quickly after being ill as I have said before.

SugariceAndScary · 25/10/2012 14:34

cheeky I recall your previous threads about being bi-polar and you sound like you're becoming less anxious than you were and gaining confidence. [hsmile].

Keep at it, you'll get there.

Had no choice but to go back to work, being at home alone makes me ill

Being ill makes you ill - it doesn't sound like it's a bundle of laughs at work either from what you have said.

cheekypickle · 25/10/2012 14:41

Work is terrible, even other members have commented what an unhappy place our school is!

If that's the case it'll hopefully be picked up on during the inspection then.
