to think decorating the house for Halloween does not make me a nutter?

I mean it's not totally over the top, in fact it's quite subtle really. Dh has registered his dislike and branded me nuts!

To be honest I think I'm missing my work. I'm on maternity leave, I work in a setting with disadvantaged young people and we always go all out for such occasions. I no outlet for my creativity right now!

i like it
MIL got us some fabulous purple bat and orange pumpkin fairy lights last year, which go out in the front garden. lovely and festive. it's dd2's birthday on the 29th, so even more of an excuse to get the decorations out IMO.
Besides, next door go for it even more than we do, and their children left home fifteen years ago Grin
