To just kill all of the eight-legged bastards?

I am being personally victimised by the entire spider population of the East Midlands.

They jump out at me from under furniture, they are lurking underneath my bed and they are BLOODY MASSIVE. Our bedroom is the worst. They try to climb right to the top of the walls but cannot seem to grip onto the decorative coving around the top of the walls and plop to the floor. Its terrifying. :(

Every time I hear the slightest noise I am terrified that it is yet another massive spider scuttling around. I cannot sleep if I hear any slight noises, as I am paranoid that a spider will fall onto my head whilst I am asleep.

I have found the bastards in my shoes, in DS1's toy box and I even found one in my freshly-made bed once.

I HAVE HAD ENOUGH. My tether is at its end. I am sick of catching the bullying little shits with a glass and releasing them outside. They just think its a hoot and come straight back inside. Angry

Last night a spider crawled up my leg whilst I was sat on the sofa (THE SECOND TIME THIS HAS HAPPENED) and I snapped and ordered six rentokill spider traps that were very well-reviewed on Amazon. These will kill them, but I just don't care anymore.

I know that this makes me an evil spider-murdering, cruel bitch but I JUST CANNOT TAKE IT ANYMORE.

They absolutely do come back. I watched one climb in the open window the day after it had been evicted into the garden. I managed to get it out again via the medium of a sofa throw and two golf clubs (don't ask) but couldn't get it any further away than the pation. The following day it was sitting under the french window outside waiting for me to open them. Fucker.

Well, at least it waited, rather than letting itself in (that time). [hsmile]
