to think if you go out for a meal for your DCs birthday then you shouldn't spend all evening sniggering at text messages?

DD's birthday, wanted her dad to come out for her birthday meal, I can be civil for a couple of hours, it was her birthday, so he was invited

he spent all evening texting various women he is chatting to online, then telling us all about the women he is chatting to online and sniggering to himself (DCs are 8&11 so really don't need to know about daddy's lady friends!)

barely spoke to the DCs after the initial happy birthday

so because that wound me up, everything started anoying me
the fact that he hadn't brought any money as he had been invited so didn't expect to pay, the fact that he made no effort with his appearance etc etc

gah!

the things we do for our DCs!

YANBU, I cannot stand it when people are constantly checking their phones, texting etc while out with others. So bloody rude.
