Tee will kill me but

i know i am. i just like getting all cosy with lamps on and blankets round us on the sofa and warm baths and jammies and warm milk and early nights once it starts getting dark and cold. i hate having to go back out again for scouts and sports clubs etc. i see people out running and think " what ARE they doing out at this time of night?" and then remember it's 10 to 7 and i'm the one with the darkness issue Grin

anybody else like this or just me? Blush

YABU. I love going out in the dark Grin

I hate going out in the daytime when it's cold and/or rainy, though.

YANBU

I'm like you, once it's dark I feel like putting pijamas on, light the fire and have a nice cup of tea! Especially when it's cold too.

I should hibernate Grin

I didn't say you were wrong to post here, I said others were wrong to say that I was not allowed to say that not wanting to leave the house while it is dark is a little bit ridiculous.

TramadolJacket · 22/10/2012 20:13

YANBU, I hate going out in the dark as well, everything just looks so sinister.

Plus, I love to be all cosied up indoors with my jim jams on, candles burning, a good book and a lovely wintery soup or stew bubbling away on the hob. Winter nights are much nicer spent indoors imo!

I had to go out on Saturday night at 9.40pm to collect dh and ds and hated it. Just walking to the car freaked me out.

MrsKeithRichards · 22/10/2012 20:20

I love both sides! I love shutting the curtains at 5pm, lighting the fire, eating soup and getting my slippers on. I love shopping in the dark, the bright shops, buses, the warmth coming out shop doors, people's living rooms, coats and hats and scarves.

I have doing the karate run though!

Oh and my breath!

i was referring to your post asking why i didn't post in chat if i didn't want people to be harsh with me. well i didn't post in chat because if i'd said "AIBU to not like going out in the dark" in 'chat' then someone would have said "this isn't AIBU, it's chat, post in AIBU" because i really was asking AIBU, not because i want a beating but because i wanted to know if i was BU in feeling how i did. just opinions. gosh, even the disclaimer doesn't get you safely through AIBU anymore! i feel tired now.

Op post where you like, I agree with you, trills chik what's got your wand in a knot???

YANBU (ooh, that's the first time I've said that to anyone). I don't really like going out in the dark winter nights or mornings either. The worst is if it's snowing when you wake up and you get that weird light - for some reason that makes me want to stay in more - the light I mean, not the snow itself. It just makes me feel all enveloped and I want to stay that way, not trudge around outside being all cold and wet.
