That is not a reason to insult the whole nation, though, charley. And as a matter of fact, Poland did not have a 'part' in Holocaust, FFS. It would be a lie to say that anti-semitism was non-existant, even before the war BUT Poland has by far the most 'Righteous Among the Nations' mentions for saving Jews in WWII. Penalty for harbouring or helping a Jew in any way was death for the whole Polish family, children included. Poland was the only country in Europe were such a sanction was imposed by the Nazis.

And Poland has apologised for Jedwabno (even though, AFAIK, the exact level willingness of Polish peasants to be a part of it hasn't been 100% proven).

Very sorry for his family experiences, but that is no reason to promote hate and slag off the whole nation, is it?

Victoria is seriously growing on me due to my Only Connect addiction. Giles should only be allowed out in the company of the lovely Sue Perkins - she manages to make him tolerable.
