YANBU at all. I'm the same. I absolutely LOVE Christmas, but can't be doing with it before December the 1st otherwise it takes the magic away. Smile
However, the past couple of years I've had to start thinking about Christmas from September onwards.
How else are the stockings going to get filled if I don't start until December?
Not to mention the million and one presents for relatives I need to buy.
Just not do-able (aware that's not really a word Grin ) if I'm not starting until December.
If your finances allow, then go for the ignoring Christmas until December route. I know I would. Grin

YANBU. Every Christmas Day of my life has always been spent with my mum. My mum died 3 weeks ago. The thought of Christmas this year is way too painful yet, although I will have to make an effort soon for the DCs sake.

I wish I could just forget the whole damn thing this year! Sad

Oh Popumpkin that is sad. Maybe you could light a candle for her during the build up to Christmas Day

YABVU. December is for parties, not queuing in Debenhams to terrible Christmas music and faffing about with delivery times. I enjoy bonfire night, put all the organising/shopping/wrapping graft in during November and then sit back and enjoy. Admittedly it's October and I've just started and am more excited than any child I know but that's beside the point. Grin
