To think that year 6 is too old to go to school in pyjamas?!

Had an email from school yesterday about a bedtime story day next week and children are to come to school in their pyjamas and pay at least a £1 for the privilege. I have nothing against mufti days per se but just think ten and eleven year olds don't want to walk to school and around town in their pyjamas.

Plus do they not have the heating on in school?

My children's pj's are substantially warmer than their normal clothes.

Our school has a bedtime story evening every couple of years. All of the kids love it. The PTA provide hot chocolate and biscuits and the teachers read stories. Almost every single child comes along, all in PJs, dressing gown and slippers right the way up to year six :D
