Don't get me wrong. I'm dead impressed. It is admirable.

But why? Why would you want to do that? It can't have been enjoyable.

He didn't freefall 24 miles, else there would have been a rather large stain on the ground..

Sorry that was rather pedantic of me. I think he was very brave especially as it did nearly go wrong!

FutTheShuckUp · 15/10/2012 18:31

It would have felt amazing, trust me it would.
I bet he will be buzzing for YEARS

TessCorpseDissect · 15/10/2012 18:35

I think it was amazing but I do wonder how is he going to top that?

Loveweekends10 · 15/10/2012 19:15

Had to laugh on the news this morning. A skydiver said oh there isn't a person on this planet who wouldn't give their right arm to do that and the BBC news readers said 'well I wouldn't want to'!
I thought me neither.
Must be lovely to have all that time and money to pee about in the stratosphere!

BlackDahlia11 · 15/10/2012 19:24

If you have ever skydived you would understand. There is nothing quite like the feeling of jumping out a plane and free falling. I can only imagine how awesome it would be from such a height. It's amazing. The courage and determination of people like that is something many look up to. Great for the younger generation especially. "Anything is possible" sorta thing.

I watched it and thought "oh his poor mum!" If that had been my lad, I'd be all "Get a proper job, stop arsing about!"

Wonder how his leap has helped medical science.

DS (13) saw the report of this first thing this morning and said "Oops, that will have upset the Gods!" - wonder if he's onto something Grin

Why wouldn't you? :)
