Well I watched about 10 minutes one time about 5 years ago. .

I just don't get it I really don't. Can someone explain to me just what exactly is so gripping about it?

Judges? How the hell can someone like Cheryl Cole or Tulisa judge anyone's singing when they are so supremely shite themselves?

I can't stand it. I hate all the egos and its gone on for so long now!

"It honestly makes me cringe, though all the posturing and face pulling and crying when the do/don't get through"

Hmm... you seem to know quite a lot about it for someone who saw only 10 minutes 5 years ago!

Grin it's all over the papers and news for crying out loud! There's no escaping it.

Who for example is the Dick Dastardly lookalike who is currently weeping all over the place and on the cover of every national paper tabloid?

You're right I do know more about it than I ever wanted to and I resent it!

If you read a broadsheet and steer clear of the sleb tittle tattle aspects of tv/social media, you can avoid it altogether. I have no idea who is on x factor, who the judges are (think might involve Gary Barlow?), what time it is on tv, when it will end. None of it ... all gone right over my head, thank goodness.

"Why is the opposite of Cheryl cole, Coldplay?"

What I meant was Coldplay seem to be more socially acceptable and cool. I think they are dull as shit.
