Seen her twice this week now, X Factor last weekend and Alan Carr tonight - new song is truly awful and really hate her style of singing - although I appreciate she has a great voice - am I in the minority?

She is very pretty. She seems to be in the states more than here. I've not heard anything about her for years.

But

When she straightens her hair she looks like any wannabe popstar, and her songs are total drivel.

. I hate mariah Carey, but I could at least name a mariah Carey song.

I'm not keen on seeing celebs slated on jere either, but I think we are a lot kinder to them than some forums are!

Perhaps because we feel some of them are MNers? I know of one celeb who posts here, she's z list though!

I haven't seen her recently, but when she was on the X-factor I thought she was hugely talented. That said, it's not my type of music.

I'm sure she's a lovely person but I was appalled when she covered Run by Snow Patrol. She utterly murdered it!

Actually, she's grown on me. And I think she's looking amazing these days. Her music isn't my bag but can appreciate she can hold a note.

She irritates me because of her music choices, not herself so much. She was working with a producer friend before X-Factor (so much for only allowing unfound, unsigned, hidden talent right??) and was doing much cooler stuff. Maybe she thought she'd be able to control her direction, I dunno but X Factor brings zero credibility and she just sounds like Whitney/Mariah when she could have so much more individual, different, better. Her new song sounds like she's trying to sound like Delilah or even at a stretch, Katy B, but she still sounds warbly. I no like the warble!

Her voice is stunning and she is so beautiful but I find her music quite pedestrian.

In a recent interview she was asked who should play the male lead in the film version of 50 Shades of Shite and she said Chris Brown, thought that was quite funny.

Her style of music isn't really my thing, but she does have a nice voice. I neither like nor dislike her tbh.

Ok cool - phew - you just can't tell with some of the ladies of pop, right? I seem to remember Cheryl Cole saying something in support of Chris Brown, though I've no idea what and can't substantiate it in anyway Grin

Anyone who supports animal charities gets a big tick in my book, bad music or no bad music!

YANBU. Her voice is an amazing instrument. I just don't like the way she uses it. Too warbly for me by a long way.

She used to have really nove hair. That is the extent of my knowledge of her.

I used to have one of her CDs and it was kind of annoying how at the quiet singing bits it was just that little bit too quiet to hear properly and then when it got to the belting it out bit it was deafening, although that's probably more the producer's fault than the singer's I suppose.

She just seems so dull, she sings with no passion just very blah. She's been given such a gift but was at the back of the queue when the personalities were being dished out.
Pretty but not attractive because so dull.

I'm sure she's quite lovely to know Smile

I think she's lovely.
I think she's probably quite shy and she probably finds interviews etc bloody hard work.
She also likes to keep her private life private. Nowadays that's quite a rare thing and I admire her for it.
