it's too late for a bath now surely? And I am not well and I am tired and I am on MN and I might go mad and buy another Lands End Stadium Squall which I don't need and can't afford.

Yes, showers everyday if available, but if you have to then it's Face, Oxters, Fanny and Feet.
Arsehole is part of fanny IYSWIM, but just after.
There's no way I could wash fanny after feet. Yuk. Feet have been on the floor with the dog. I like a clean fanny.

For goodness sake - people have survived for YEARS (and I'm talking decades here) having a bath once a week. This 'shower every day or you must be dirty' nonsense has only developed in the last few years.
If you don't want a bath, don't have one. If you are a person who feels they wnt to have a bath everyday, then have one, but - unless you work as a plasterer or a coal miner or may an aerobics instructor - it's very unlikely you actually need to bath every day.

I always take my shower at night, never in the morning. Do not have time for bath.

I can get away with a shower every 3 days.

I have a bath every month, whether I need one or not.

Years ago a friend was travelling Europe on low budget.

She said that most of the time she just and an APC before bed.

Took me years to figure out what APC meant.

Actually, it takes the same amount of time to have a quick shower as it does to have an APC.

backforgood that's because of expense though. Nothing to do with necessity. And of course people can 'survive', being dirty doesn't kill. But personally I need a shower before bed or in the morning.

My DP has two, I think that's slightly overkill

Otherwise known as a WW (Whores' Wash). Get in the shower you minger. It take 5 minutes max for a basic scrub down.

And as for feet/fanny sequence, man alive, you're washing with soap people. SOAP. There's a clue in there somewhere.
