Best of luck with the job Howels. I'm crap at Arithmetic but strangely good at Maths Hmm

amck5700 · 10/10/2012 22:59

I got over 95% in my Maths O grade but never did the whole Uni thing as we were too poor :(

It sounds weirdly like an IQ test...

amck5700 · 10/10/2012 23:04

lol - as far as I remember, Arithmetic is the basics about adding, subtracting etc and is based on knowing your times tables and Maths is more conceptual and also covers Geometry, Algebra and Trigonometry.

Softlysoftly · 10/10/2012 23:06

Wtf for a pt job at Primark? How odd Confused

I didn't mean that to sound as harsh as it did btw! I annoy recruiters no end as I can't get past the silly numerical testing even though I can manage budgets with my eyes shut Hmm

howelsabout · 10/10/2012 23:09

of course i want the job i have had many retail jobs and never have i had to answer questions like these before.

@amck give up if only you could see my face infact it looks pretty much like this >>>Confused

Sequences occur in IQ type things. I hate them. I have Maths A Level and can do the picture IQ things all day, but sequences leave me wanting to rip the paper into tiny little bits.

Hope you get the job, good luck!

ladygoldenlion · 10/10/2012 23:20

Charlie is 4th from the front and 9th from the end

1,2,3,Charlie,5,6,7,8,9,10,11,12

Does that make it clearer? (count backwards for the end bit)
