AIBU in wishing genetically modified food and animals would end up being more like the type of thing that happens in cartoons?

I want to go to the New Forest during fishcake season with a fishcake net and hunt the little breadcrumbed critters that run around there.
I want real haggis re-introduced back onto Scottish hillsides.
I want Clangers.
I want whales with lasers for eyes so they can sink whaling ships.
I want giant talking turtles to fight crime.

Is that too much to ask?

We could use science to find out what you really do get if you cross a sheep with a kangaroo.

They're wasting their time seeing how many ears they can get on a mouse. They all seem to have pretty big ears to start with.

Can we discuss the giant talking turtles to fight crime? That would be good. Even better, they could be named after Renaissance artists!

Micro Mammoths.

Not only micromammoths (which would be ace btw), you could have little horses for your dd's Barbies to ride round on.

I'm thinking the turtles could be Banksy, Harris, Jacko from Brush Strokes and a half turtle called Hirst.

Micro animals would be good. You could have a whole zoo you could keep in a bucket.

or indeed, a bucket full of dinosaurs.

There's a small population of wild tofu near us. Our cats like to chase them but are utterly confused when they catch them.

Whenever I go to the New Forest I am disappointed by the fact that the ponies are boring matte brown colours and don't come in pastels with sparkly manes and tails.
