Or an end of term/end of year present?
Or not get DC's to make one? Or a card?

At our primary school... The parent reps say its £10 off each parent, for each teacher, i think its disgusting !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

YANBU. Charity shops are full of mugs/glasses cases/picture frames with "World's Best Teacher" on. Do the teacher a favour and don't buy one.

£10 per parent!!! Shock I obviously worked at the wrong schools Wink.

Do you know what my favourite presents were at Christmas? Christmas decorations, esp those the kids had made. I did work in Y6 so they were pretty impressive by this stage, and they were small, but they still hang on my tree now years on, and I can still remember the kids who gave them to me Smile.
