to have a stationary fetish...

I know, I know, a wee bit shallow... but I am already looking for my next diary and I am wondering if anyone has any great diary they recommend? I used Moleskine in the past which is great, but I am now tempted to go back to my first love... the Filofax!

If you too have a stationary fetish and strong ideas about diaries, please share.

Thanks

I'm another fetishist for all things stationery....I got a fabulous 18 month diary from TK Maxx a wee while ago.... But pens, give me pens!!

SpookyAndFrights · 08/10/2012 18:57

I have a lovely Union Jack pocket Filofax that runs from August until next Christmas, I keep that in my handbag and have an A5 mums diary on a stand in the kitchen so that we can see what's happening at a glance. I love everything to do with stationery and spend many a happy hour looking on the cult pens website!

Don't shout at me but IKEA have started doing a few nice notebooks. I have a silver one with unruled pages, hardback covers (A5, grey with silver snowflakes) and it is spiral bound, nice and hard wearing for the handbag.

I also picked up a couple of hardback big ones (bigger than A4 but not A3, more like a photo album) that I plan on using for photos (they were reduced to half nothing)

I just spent £16 in paperchase on new note books and handwriting pens.... I only meant to walk past.... I have a problem! Grin

My name is Eco and it's been a week since I last bought a folder.

However, The Works have staples in packs of gold, blue, purple and pink. 99p. 3 for price of 2.

I am so weak!

I have got an organised mums family life diary. Loads of different sections plus lots of stickers for things like when not is due, birthdays, inset days etc I love it!

PoppyWearer · 08/10/2012 20:47

Coloured staples?

PoppyWearer · 08/10/2012 20:48

It's a stationery thread. Someone has to mention Berol pens and Plastidecor crayons. So many happy childhood memories!

Multicoloured post-its

Freshletticiaandslugs · 08/10/2012 22:39

You need the A5 size filofax, mine has a lovely saddle leather cover and lots of room for notes. I have week to view with appointment times which is really organised.

IvantaOuiOui · 08/10/2012 23:21

Oh yes yes. Love stationery, especially Paperblanks notebooks. The new Ikea stuff is lovely, especially the oddly shaped post it notes. I used to get Viking catalogues when I worked in an office and it was heaven.

MadMumToThree · 09/10/2012 19:52

Homesense often have lovely notebooks and diaries - I usually manage to find a Taschen diary - this years was only £2.99 instead of £15!
