I'm 32 and I'm scared! Would you be happy letting your DC watch this? I had to google the rating and was really shocked to find it was a PG!

My almost 4 year old has seen most of the Jurassic Park films. I've seen them a billion times and explain to her what is going to happen and that she shouldn't be too scared. She used to have the occasional nightmare about dinosaurs... Rather have my child watch this then guns and shooting and such...

I bet DD would love it. Dragons and dinosaurs are her favorites. Or 'raaaawrs' as she calls them, she's 2.

I first watched jaws age 4 with my parents. I still don't swim in the sea now, and have a serious shark problem!
Jurassic park I was definately a grown up when I first saw it, and it scared the buggery out of me. I had nightmares about those bloody raptors for weeks. Trex I can cope with, he's big and scary but thick as pigshit, raptors were too clever by half, like the sharks in deep blue sea that I watched against my better judgement and was also petrified by!

I love watching it and can't wait for DS to be old enough to enjoy it too :p

I went to see this when it first came out at the cinema.

I was 21 and bloody terrified.

The 5 year old sat next to me with her mum wasn't scared at all, and found my fear hysterically funny...

rogers - I'm the same and can't swim in the sea after watching Jaws and Deep Blue Sea but I don't have a real problem with sharks.
