to tell my 3yo that im pregnant..

When I'm only 6 weeks...
Up until last week I hadn't had any nausea, this week i have done nothing but vomit and look generally unwell. I'm trying to keep my best face on for DD but the truth is I feel so shitty that I'm finding it hard already.

Poor DD keeps asking why I'm so sick and looks really upset by it all. I have no one to help take care of her during the day as DH works funny shifts. I just think if she knew why I was sick she might not be so worried and understand abit why mummy looks like crap! Lol

I told my 2 and 4 yr old when I was pregnant with my third pregnancy, sadly I mc at 12 wks and it was horrible having to tell them there wasn't going to be a baby anymore. I found it hard when Dd would make innocent comments such as pointing out little outfits we could have bought.

When I fell pregnant again I waited until 12 wks, wish I'd waited longer as like McHappyPants posted they then did ask 1000 times a day when the baby was coming!

I told my 3 year old at about 8 weeks and had a mmc at 12 weeks. Although it was hard telling him it was a real comfort being able to cuddle him and not have to keep too happy a face on. It didn't upset him massively as he didn't understand totally what it meant.
