That James Arthur seems to really doubt himself and seemingly his appearance am I the only one who thinks he's lovely?

Mother Teresa is a stupid comparison though as most of the photos of her are when she is very old. Completely different thing. I am not trying to be awkward but I just think there is nothing wrong with ugly.

I think he looks and acts exactly like sloth from the goodies- all that shirt pulling like he is having some sort of fit. I genuinely cannot understand how anyone could think he was attractive. I don't particularly like his voice either.

All I can say is that hopefully when you mature a little you will start to be able to see beauty as being more than physical.

If that was aimed at me jeezy I don't think I particularly need to change my opinions thanks. I am perfectly capable of seeing beyond appearance. It wouldn't bother me if my partner was ugly as the reason I chose him would be because he made me laugh or was extremely caring.

But Shane McGowan was not in a tele voting competition. I have also not ever heard anyone say he was attractive. Actually I think it is immature and childish to suggest that everyone is physically beautiful. He may be a very nice person but I am entitled to my opinion that he is physically Unattractive and that he does look like the character from the film I mentioned.

Just watched his first audition again, still think he's gorgeous, it's all in the eye of the beholder because there are others who the judges have complimented on their looks and I've thought, no way.

The op was about the guy's appearance not his inner beauty. When I dared to give my opinion on his appearance I was deemed immature. I have interpreted your comment exactly how it was meant. It is supposed to be a singing competition however since his whole singin style makes him appear Quasimodo like it is rather off putting.
