To dislike seeing teenagers kissing in the park?

Yep I'll add to the YABU. Out of interest would 30somethings snogging bother you in the same way? When I met my DP we snogged just about everywhere! I couldn't care less at the time what people might have thought, I was in luurve .

I did loads of snogging in parks when I was a teenager because... where else is there to do it? I couldn't do it at home - we lived with my Grandma and to describe her morals as Edwardian would have been most accurate. Can't remember how understanding of teenage romance the boys' families were although many were boarders so there was no chance of any privacy there either!

Can't say it would bother me if I were with my DC as long as it were only kissing, holding hands etc.

I took my dcs to the park the other week and we saw dsd1 snogging some guy. Our response was "awww". I think we'd react the same way to any teenagers.

The last time I saw a teenage boy and girl kissing in the park, a little kid on the slide pointed at them and shouted, Ewww they're kissing, that's sooo gay!!

I'm going to go against the grain and say YANBU.  It's not attractive at all.  A chaste kiss is one thing (whatever age), but more than that - NO.  Not for public consumption at all.

May teenagers find the sight of old people, like 30+, gross if they are kissing or holding hands or groping each other.
I think all we can do is hope for tolerance and acceptance of the signs of human affection.

I used to sneak back into school after hours and do my shagging snogging against the Science blackboard. Schools have such tight security nowadays you can't do that :(
