Cherry Menlove sucks up to Mumsnet ...

she has posted this book review. of all the books to review she's chosen one by mumsnet. what a coincidence (not) she must read the posts on here and thought she would make a blatant attempt to be liked. i for one cannot warm to her after the press articles.

Wow - I just searched Cherry Menlove on mumsnet and I can't understand where the vitriol comes from! People don't like her because of her 'home-making'?

There seems to be a lot of threads started or bumped by one-time/one-topic posters. It all seems quite bizzare to me.

the bitchiness is because on her blog she promotes herself as mother earth - and talks about her children and husband etc....

most of what she does is copied from american and other world wide bloggers that uk hasnt caught up with but now she is main chanel for.

then there was a newspaper artcile about her being vicous to the lady who was supposed to help her promote herself and not paying her...

true or not it just seemed to expose a very hard side to her....

I think Cherry has a fantastic blog, she writes from the heart and does not at all portray herself as mother earth. I don't think move ever got that impression from any of her posts. She's been through a lot of heartache recently and has shared all on her blog. The fast that she likes her home to be nice and spends time doing that seems to greatly offend people.
Now who is this Tada women you are talking about I like the sound of her

Oh, well spotted Illage. Charlotte if that is you, then you are either a fan of her who is trying to flog the blog, or you are rather two faced.

I think that Cherry has had a tough time recently and am glad that she seems to be doing better.

i have asked before on thread about cherry why people were so bitchy about her and i didnt really get respoinse - so just assumed it was because she promotes one image about herself - then another side comes through that sounds rather nasty...

i thought people might think she promotes herself as a twee homemaker - the aprons - etc baking, her paddock and then an article comes out exposing a ruthless business side....

Is she the person who had a tv programme where she went and looked at different people's parenting styles,like a placenta eating person and various other ones.. or am I confusing her with someone else??

anyway yabu op your post is mean, i don't get the problem with the review. tbh reading something where someone has spoken about several miscarriages they have gone through and you then think its appropriate to make horrible remarks about them comes across as really heartless Confused

I think the Subject title was written in such a way that would prompt a reaction from us all, then clevererly linking direct to her site. Bit of a coincidence to link to a mumsnet review otherwise. I would think it was CM herself or one of her team who posted it to up her traffic. I do not know her but I know all about her through mutual friends and so I wouldn't be surprised if she posted this. Maybe this is a PR stunt to help with all the bad publicity around her?
