i've booked and paid for it. now i've heard that you get terrible bruises from the paintballs Hmm does anyone have any experience of this?

what we did is paid for some of the paintballs and told them thats what we paid for then if they wanted more they had to buy the rest themselves think we bought 2000 of the pellets

That's what I've bought mrsjay, well 200 each. It's very pricey. Don't want to be stingy but I can't buy anymore so hopefully they'll have a bit I pocket money with them. Really wish I had a few men in my life to take over here but I guess that's what I'm paying for and there'll be loads of supervisors etc hopeful

It will be well staffed and it is safe say to the parents what you have bought they will give their kids extra money for more if they ran out, I can't remember if DDs friends bought more,

The bruises are awesome.
Ds went with 3 friends for his 13th and had a great day.
Dh picked them up at 4 and they were knackered.

I came on this thread to post about PJ from Byker Grove, but it's already been said Grin.

I went paint balling when I was 14 for a party and I was fine after. They will all enjoy it.

My pfb got hit in the mouth with one, split his lip, and lost half a front tooth. He was black and blue for a week or so too, I was amazed that one little paintball did so much damage tbh, they seem so innocuous but the little buggers hurt!

I've taken a mob of teens paintballing, they had a fantastic time, long sleeves dress in layers and wear the helmets, face protection and probably the padded chest plate bit if it were me. My son would just wear long sleeve layers and an old Army jacket that was thick. I think his worse bruises were a couple on his legs (one on his thigh at the back) and one on his upper arm.
Ds got hit right in the face mask, it has holes near the bottom for breathing and it went through the holes into his mouth, he said that was the worst ever it tastes foul.
I ever went in with them, I'd watch from behind the plastic wall/fence they had up I had a newborn with me. Grin

Showing off the impressive bruises was part of the fun when I went with work once Grin

Some places divide the groups up into age groups and have age-appropriate protective gear and guns. Hopefully you have booked one of these places?

Anyway, it will be fine. They need to wear all the gear at all times. Protective gloves are good.
