Brew Brew Brew while you're thinking about it.

DH thinks IABU. My excuse/reasoning if I need one baby DD and I are full of cold and been awake through the night. After the school run we both fell asleep and I've only just finished my first cup so really I missed my breakfast cup and I'm just catching up. Right?

AIBU?

I make 2 cups at a time, one really milky for drinking straightaway and one nice and strong so that it's cooled to optimum drinking temperature by the time I've finished the first one. However, it's (whisper it) tea.

Carrot cake counts though and should not be eaten without a cuppa

Agree with Dame on instant coffee.

Cafietierre, makes 2-3 cups. Drink.

When impact wearing off, switch to diet coke.

Later on switch to red wine.

Isn't this how everyone survives?

I do every morning, caffitear (however it's spelt) makes 4 cups, 2 each although DH often sticks his second in a travel mug and takes it to work.

hedgehogpatronus · 27/09/2012 12:57

Er no, YANBU. You are in fact being normal, in my opinion.

EasilyBored · 27/09/2012 13:01

Shit, does coffee come in individual cups? Drink it from pint size mugs over here.

YANBU.

Chopstheduck · 27/09/2012 13:02

I think I would throw something at dh if he told me I shouldn't have my second cuppa in the morning. I have the kids trained. In the mornings, if cup is empty, it needs refilling Grin

Has to be REAL coffee too, from proper coffee beans. None of this preground crap and def not granules . I love blue mountain, but it's £20 a bag so that is a rare treat.

Declutterbug · 27/09/2012 13:16

YANBU 2 mugs of coffee and a mug of tea for breakfast here (coffee is all decaf). Another 2 mugs of coffee required after school run. Also a bf mum -I need the fluid!!

Declutterbug · 27/09/2012 13:17

Anyone found anywhere cheaper for nice ground coffee than IKEA btw?

GingaNinja · 27/09/2012 13:48

YAdefinitelyNBU. FFS! I get a 15 min breakfast break at work (work in a clean room in a factory) and had bad night with DD last Thurs, so rocked up to the till in the canteen with 3 coffees. Which did provoke a comment from the girl on the till (she's used to my Brew+ Brew normal habit). Would your DH rather you were chainsmoking?

You also need to purchase a massive mug ASAP.
