Saw them again on Friday. I still aspire to join their ranks even though I can still only strum open strings. I luffs them.

No, sadly, they have played at Camp Bestival and they are absolutely fantastic.

Maybe I need to get myself to Bestival, then, because when I've seen them at other events - they are my neighbourhood ukulele orchestra - they seem a bit rubbish pale imitation of the UOGB. They even ::horrors:: have people playing instruments that aren't ukuleles.

DS is a ukelele genius. He makes me very happy. Especially serenading me with the 'racist dragon' song .
He is geeky cool and 15 and my boy, so anything he does is fine by me :)
He adored UOOGB and aspires to be like them. I approve of this ambition
