To not want anyone to have access to all of my pictures of DS?

I have uploaded all of my pictures of my DS (8000+) to google+ just to back them up.

DH said that we should make them all accessible to family by giving them our account and password.

AIBU to say no way?

I don't want everyone to see all our pictures that we have ever taken of DS as I want to put some on canvas and do a photo album and I don't want everyone to have seen all of the pictures we have ever taken.

I just think that it is personal to me to have some pictures to show rather than everyone in the family having access to all of them.

DH thinks that I am being very unreasonable but am I really?

I've got 15000 on my computer, take since DC1 was born nearly 9 years ago. Sometimes I go a whole month without taking any, other days we take loads, it's just so easy with camera phones now. They aren't all of the DCs, but probably 80% are. We back up to a hard drive stored at DH's work (as well as Apple Time Machine). We have been considering putting some on a sharing website with the grandparents but would definitely only do the best ones, I want to also be able to make photobooks with the same ones, so I am currently investigating the best way to do both at the moment. No way would I give anyone else access to the whole lot, or my Google account.

Blush I've got about 2,000 of DS(6m) already, and I haven't even checked the camera recently..

If you don't want them to have access then don't, maybe set up an account for some of the photos that family can access.

I've put all of ours on a password protected album on Photobucket for family to view.

You do not give other people your google + password. Any more than you let all and sundry access your email account.
