Dh amnounced last night that we wete getting tivo box and hd boxes in bedrooms.was told they were coming at 3 so kept kids out all day so as not to be in way.btw we previously had full sky package but git rid as couldnt afford it. Guy didnt turn up until half 5 then dh went in a sulk because i refused to let them drill holes in ceiling and run visible wire up the wall! Now got 3 guys here trying to sort it.i cant get kids to bed and all so dh can watch fucking footie! Btw did i mention we cant afford it...

I'm sure someone has mentioned financial abuse and controlling behavior to you previously if you've posted about this before, the reason it's abuse and controlling is that it works. Not being able to walk away is a symptom of what's going on, not a sign of weakness.

Our TiVo, hd, multiroom, sports and broadband deal I'm going to get reduced soon as I'm on mat allowance now but at the moment it costs £98 per month. That's not too mention the setup and box costs.

If you spend all day out and it's your DCs and friends you cite as making you happy then where does your DH come into the "nice" part of your life or is he just contributing to the nit nice bits?

If you boot him then you still get to go out, see friends, have your DCs and with the settlement/maintenance you might just be able able to make your home nice too.
