To think that people should shut their flipping dog up

Dog in next street from mine has been outside barking for the past 45 minutes at least. I can hear this dog from inside my house!

I'm a dog owner myself. and my dog rarely barks, (didn't bark at all before he was 1) when he does it's literally one woof when next door have their windows cleaned then he shuts up,

But why the fuck are they letting it continually bark?
And why haven't they let it in yet?

My neighbours next door but one have dogs. They are often in the garden, barking. They can't be asking to be let in because no one does let them in and half the time there's no one there. I contacted the Council about the noise because I couldn't sit peacefully in my garden, reading a book.

The Council sent me some diary-like forms and I was asked to write down every bit of barking I heard (date, time, duration etc). Try your local authority. At least there is some sort of procedure where I live.

Try having a very loud German Shepard next door. :( They work during the day and from about 8am till sometime in the afternoon it barks and howls constantly.

we had a dog that barked all day( well seemed like it!). In the end I called the RSPCA for advice. They asked if I could see some water out for him, I could. They also asked if he looked distressed. I'm not a dog person so wasn't to sure but he was barking all the time and said that can't be normal. He sent the dog warden round to check and he did get better. Thank fully they moved a few weeks later

Our NDN have a rottweiler.
It barks at everyone who walks past, and we live closer to a school so its a busy road. It barks at the postman, window cleaner, and is a real pain in the bum.
During the evening when they are in it barks and they yell at it to shut up or to get in its bed. I've even heard them counting to 3 to go lie down, as you might a young child.
They put it out in the farm where it barks at every passing pedestrian, wasp and fly.

Please, if your a Dog owner, please be aware not everyone wants to listen to your hound.
