To be *laughing* that this person defriended me from FB?

Is it suppose to hurt my feelings? Because, you know what? It doesn't!

Apparently telling her, on my status, that I don't agree with her opinion, was too much for her poor little feelings.

lol at 'what folk don't get'. And another lol at this being a cliquey ilky thread when tisn't or if it is, I'm blithely joining in totes unaware of the fact.

Pagwatch · 21/09/2012 11:53

It's ok Funny. I think you can do totes.

I would be wary of amazeballs if I were you. I think that would be a step to far

SuePurblybilt · 21/09/2012 11:55

You can totes carry off totes.

FunnysInLaJardin · 21/09/2012 11:57

thanks for the vote of confidence ref totes. Amazeballs is totes a step too far. I'll be saying Natch next

TantrumsAndGoldAndOrange · 21/09/2012 11:59

You can totes carry it off. Natch.

people say 'oh, she's just decluttering her friends list, having a bit of a tidy up' but I don't really believe that. I don't think many people remove friends unless they have a very good reason. I've only removed 2 people since I opened a Facebook account four years ago and I had very good reasons for both (one was racist and the other I barely knew, lived hundreds of miles away and had added me just to be nosey, I think)
I've been defriended by a couple of people and as far as I know haven't done or said anything out of the ordinary on Facebook. I never put anything politically incorrect, offensive or irritating up. My worst crime is too many photos of my dc's. I'm not losing sleep over the defriending because the couple of women who removed me, were starting to irritate me with their updates, so I suspect it was a mutual thing! They were probably annoyed with the baby photos. Probably can't blame them!

SuePurblybilt · 21/09/2012 12:06

I don't get the 'was just de-cluttering' not being offensive actually, you're right.
Deleting some random corporate site you joined to enter a competition or your local shitty radio station = de-cluttering.
Deleting people = REJECTION. YOU ARE NAUGHT BUT CLUTTERY CLUTTER TO ME. I AM TIDYING YOU OUT OF MY EXISTENCE.

PicklesThePottyMouthedParrot · 21/09/2012 12:06

Million ill sum up for you.

Tee wrote op meaning as light hearted jokey thread on silly Facebook

People started saying are you ok? You sound Angry or Envy some people meant it others were being sarky

Some of the others came on to say I saw what you were getting at and asked tee was she ok to poke a bit of fun in a light hearted way at crazy thread

The ilk word came out

Goldship turned 21

It all seems to have ended well though.

I think that it!

amillionyears · 21/09/2012 12:17

Thanks Pickles.
I got lost in the middle.
Now I find myself asking if Tee is ok! Because she did seem a bit narked when she left, but that could have been because her joke backfired a bit.
Happy belated birthday Goldship.
Havent a clue what ilk means.Never mind.

THERhubarb · 21/09/2012 12:20

Happy birthday to autumnlights!

Is an ilk an elk?

I'm still waiting by the way....

autumnlights12 · 21/09/2012 12:35

Happy Birthday? I'm now very lost!

SuePurblybilt · 21/09/2012 12:42

YY, Happy Birthday!
(no idea. Cos it's now Autumn?)

THERhubarb · 21/09/2012 12:44

You wanna cake?
I had some scones but I ate them for breakfast. Sorry.
Have a salted peanut?

differentnameforthis · 21/09/2012 12:47

My sister defriended me for pretty much the same, tee. She doesn't like to be argued with/told she is wrong/that someone doesn't agree with her. Makes her feel like she isn't the most important person in the world!

captainmummy · 21/09/2012 12:50

Pickles - you forgot the agonising birth of IvanaHughJanus

soorploom · 21/09/2012 12:55

are you not just a teensy bit upset at being defriended and thats why you are telling and not telling the story? did your now defriended friend just get to the end of her tether with your opinions in general and decide she'd had enough? who was this friend? oh i do love a good soap

soorploom · 21/09/2012 13:00

oh i seem to have missed a page of messages and now realise there's no juicy gossip.Sad

IvorHughJanus · 21/09/2012 14:00

Thank you captainmummy.

OhChristFENTON · 21/09/2012 14:12

This thread is the weirdest I have read today and today and yesterday there have been some corkers.

I kept reading back the OP scanning it for any strangeness or reason for posters to think Tee was being cuckoo in the least.

I still can't see it.

In my experience she is quirky not cuckoo, and most definitely 'ok' ::head tilt::

You have to watch her with the though - she's a bit of a stickler for the correct usage.

::stands corrected::

PicklesThePottyMouthedParrot · 21/09/2012 14:14

I did as well, sorry Ivor!

IvorHughJanus · 21/09/2012 14:21

Ah that's OK Pickles.

Forgetfulness is often a sign of anxiety though you know.

Hope you're ok.

THERhubarb · 21/09/2012 14:22

Oh Max, whatever happened to him eh? Why did you make me think of Max? WHY OH WHY OH WHY???
