I once transported my boy cat in a pink cat carrier and he caught the gay. He started kissing on other boy cats in the street, and trying to make sweet love to them.

DS2 is wearing a rainbow babygro today that DH calls his gay-be-gro.... (not true)

I thought this sort of thing was urban myth until I actually met a father at a toddler group berating his 1 year old for playing with the dolly and pram and redirecting him to the "boys toys, brooom".
Then he changed his nappy and left with him....in his pram Confused

That father is clearly a closet homosexual, Dotty, and transferring his own feelings of self-hatred onto his son...

I'd mention it to the nursery, actually. A colour is just a colour. And how can a colour be "wrong"? Informing a child that they made the wrong choice over a colour undermines their ability to choose, and lets face it, they have so little to make decisions over aged 2.

DS loves pink Am sure next week / month / year it will be green, or blue, or lilac, or yellow... And I really don't care.

The woman is an idiot Angry

My DS2 at that point would have thrown a fit as he would have wanted the pink one. I did draw the line at pink shoes but happy with pink cups, t-shirts, blanket etc etc. Stupid woman.

My nan finds it hilarious that ds likes pink and dolls and has a toy kitchen and wants to be the queen when he grows up. So much so that she asked him if he was gay. While I was busy telling her off, ds just said Yes granny. So obviously he's caught the gay.
