to wonder why Christmas is a busy time when reading out birthday cards?

From the CBeebies site about birthday cards:

"As we record messages in advance, we need cards at least 4 weeks before the birthday. This period may increase at busy times of the year like Christmas. "

Do lots of people send them in for Baby Jesus? I think he's a Milkshake fan.

Yeah that's stupid!

Tweasels · 17/09/2012 19:32

Ha ha ha. A nice picture of baby Jesus tucked underneath a nice flap with a picture of Mr Tumble on the front.

Happy birthday Jesus, 2012 today, with lots of love from mammy, God and stepdaddy Joseph.

Probs just meant the postal system is busy but I like your idea better!

PoppyWearer · 17/09/2012 19:32

Nah, it's because the presenters are all off rehearsing and doing panto, so they probably have to record six weeks before.

StealthPolarBear · 17/09/2012 19:34

Who do we see in Mr tumble's spotty bag? Why it's the son of god!

Would it be wrong to inundate Cbeebies with cards for long dead religious figures?

Surely it's because the royal mail is busier because of all the Christmas cards.

PoppyWearer · 17/09/2012 20:08

As if....didn't even have time to make cards for my own DCs this year.

Sirzy · 17/09/2012 20:08

I would have thought things are recorded more in advance over christmas, add to that the fact that royal mail are crap slower at christmas seems sensible
