To think that 'romantic' music during sex is a pssion killer?

I was just thinking about my past sexual encounters and I remembered an old boyfriend of mine who used to put on 'sex' or so he thought hiphop on whilst we were making love. Hmm Anyone else had worse? Even really slushy music would just be cheesy and wrong.

So no slipknot then Grin

PretzelTime · 16/09/2012 17:54

Death metal makes me want to sacrifice men to Satan. It's not good for love-making.

And neither is Enya! Ye gods put that album away when it's sex time!

...Are men better at multitasking or something? Crappy or catchy music disturbs my concentration during such events.

The Beach soundtrack was it for me and a boyf at uni. Lost my virginity to AIR's Moon Safari. But they're not slushy lurve music, so I consider myself exept from the OP.

exempt! Gah.

DawnOfTheDee · 16/09/2012 17:59

Many moons ago at university, I was with my boyfriend in his room and we were getting down to it. I don't think he put this on intentionally but a rap song was on and I distinctly remember hearing the lovely lyric "and now my dick is on your tonsils...".

And it was. Tried to ignore it but started sniggering. Mild jiggling indicated boyfriend was sniggering too. Couldn't carry on after that and was just crying with laughter for about half an hour.

Said boyfriend is now my DH Grin

Seksy musics!!

Loving the ex with Enya.

Had some sort of channel malfunction with the tv once and got some antique selling programme instead of radio six. Most disconcerting!

RedBushedT · 16/09/2012 18:06

I like music during sex. Not slushy love songs, can't stand them at any time to be honest!
But just noise in the background. Otherwise, every single sex noise makes me giggle Blush

Allofaflumble · 16/09/2012 19:07

Try getting aroused to Northern Soul playing at full blast! :0/

SchrodingersMew · 16/09/2012 19:14

Silly Slipknot in the background isn't that great, most of the songs have a kind of really changing drum beat. Totally throws rhythm off! Cradle of Filth or Dark Funeral on the other hand...

Dawn When me and DP first got together he had a playlist on in the back ground by a group called "Twiztid", song that came on directly after we were finished was called "Dirty Lil Girl", the lyrics were:

Thanks for the pussy baby
Now I gotta go,
You were so freaky, lady
But you're just another hoe
Hmm Those were the nicest lyrics in that song btw...

ettiketti · 16/09/2012 19:17

We have to put music on to protect teen ears.

I prefer rnb, bit of bump n grind :o

This thread is hilarious! GrinGrinGrin
I LOVED sex music with my first serious boyfriend, which was a looong time ago.
We thought we were IT! We thought we were the people in the song! So funny now but a great feeling back then as a young women madly in love (with an idiot).
Glad to say now though that me and my husband don't need it Wink and I think the kids would die off if they heard sex music coming from mum and dads room.
If we were alone in a hotel though I wouldn't kill him if he pulled a few moves to some nice music Grin but I don't think that's his style. Hes a typical "you look good, I want you now" kinda guy and then we continue watching the tv or read our books Grin.
Great thread, thanks for the laugh before I iron the uniforms.

What a lovely ditty SchrodingersMew!

At least he said thank you.....

Pochemuchka · 16/09/2012 20:00

Sex music is so wrong (unless it's drown out the noise of sex music).
Whoever mentioned the rhythm matching was spot on - which is even worse if you're listening to some super quick music with a guy who is, ahem, super quick in the sack anyway! (this has never happened to me, honest!)

I know a man who used a Mr Men CD to seduce girls when he was a teenager. I'm quite shocked at how successful it was, too!
