I am simply referring to a random sample of threads I have come across today.

I hate text speak. I hate babe, hun, hunni. Nine times out ten its insincere filler. I hate lol and especially lololol which translated I believe means laughing out loud out loud out loud.

however I have enough compassion to know when you keep your own counsel. The thread Mrsjay mentioned is extremely sad and taken at face value is a woman desperately looking for advice and support. The heartless cows coming on to the thread purely to point out the text speak really should stfu. No compassion. Not an ounce.

lolololol - the more letter you type, the more you are laughing. Though I think it's often used as a filler instead of actually meaning that you're genuinely laughing.
