Of course it is weird, very weird. Surprised you felt the need to ask.

BettySwollocksandaCrustyRack · 13/09/2012 13:32

Erm yes, very!!

Mummy2bekarlie · 13/09/2012 13:32

yes, i probably would have said a few harsh words

frasersmummy · 13/09/2012 13:32

was it a member of staff.. if not did you tell the staff??

WowOoo · 13/09/2012 13:34

Did she seem strange? Did you ask her what on earth was she suggesting?

Weird.
I might be tempted on some days come to think of it.

Secret7 · 13/09/2012 13:38

How strange.

I would have alerted staff to keep an eye on her.

Who in their right mind would say "cheers love" and waltz off?

Sirzy · 13/09/2012 13:39

I would have informed the nearest member of staff!

mamamibbo · 13/09/2012 13:39

i think i attract them, she was around 60 and sat on a bench, a woman offered to look after them a few months ago so i could go to the toilet

I remember when I had two under two, I miss timed feeding and they were both screaming their heads off in sainsburys. A lovely women offerered to look after them while I grabbed some shopping. I didn't think she was odd, just nice and helpful (well, maybe a bit mad to want to look after two screaming children)

Tincletoes · 13/09/2012 13:40

I wouldn't have left my children with her, but think its far more likely she was either a) lonely or b) just trying to be kind, than being some kind of abductor

cozietoesie · 13/09/2012 13:40

I think I still would inform them - by phone.
