To think that it very strange that Chris Brown would have a picture of a battered woman tattooed onto his neck?

Chris Brown who is most famous for beating up Rihanna and being pretty unrepentant about it now has had an image of Rihanna in her beaten state tattooed onto the side of his neck

Anyone else find this pretty disturbing?

He's bragging, yeah such a hard man needing to pick on women to make him feel like a big boy, how pathetic....

somedayma · 11/09/2012 23:54

um...it doesn't look anything like Rihanna, or very like a beaten woman...it's a badly done half skull female face. Has anyone even looked closely at the photo before jumping on the DM bandwagon?

LadyBeagleEyes · 12/09/2012 00:02

I don't think it looks like a beaten woman either.
It looks like a skull/death tattoo, and a crap one at that.
Has he actually admitted that's what it is or is it just DM gossip.

SPsFanjoSponsoredByOrange · 12/09/2012 00:06

Eithher way ess stil a Mon head!

Weayhe the tatto is a woman, a skulk or zombie!

Empusa · 12/09/2012 00:07

It really doesn't look like a Día de los Muertos tattoo Confused

Saying that, it also doesn't look like it was done by anyone with any talent. So I guess it could be a Día de los Muertos tattoo done by someone with absolutely no concept of what it should look like?

somedayma · 12/09/2012 00:16

yeh probably. it's just very shite really

heyannie · 12/09/2012 00:18

Vile tattoo, vile man

Empusa · 12/09/2012 00:25

Actually, maybe he honestly thought he was getting a day of the dead tattoo, but the tattooist (rightly) thought he was a twat, and decided to make it look a little bit more battered than sugar skull to make a point?

FutureNannyOgg · 12/09/2012 00:37

Empusa, I agree it is crap as sugar skulls go, but the stylised sewn lips and painted eye socket give it away!
I really don't understand how rich, image orientated celebrities end up with cheap, crappy tats.

pinkyp · 12/09/2012 00:40

What a dick head

piprabbit · 12/09/2012 00:44

Assuming that what he saying is true and the tattoo has nothing at all to do with Rihanna...
It takes someone monumentally stupid to have a tattoo which reminds the whole world of the single most memorable image associated with your name - a picture of your bruised and battered girlfriend.
Surely anyone with an ounce of sense, compassion, business acumen and self-awareness would think "Oooh - might get a bit of flak for that one, it's probably not worth it".

cartblanche · 12/09/2012 00:54

In an EXTREMELY fucked up way he could be branding himself forever with the image of what he did to a woman he supposedly loved in a sort of self-flagellating way? I doubt very much if that IS the case but I can imagine him thinking that this might work with "We found love in a hopeless place" Rhianna.

Please resist Rhianna.

suburbophobe · 12/09/2012 00:54

he must feel like he is totally invincible.

Like I said, these people are "living in a bubble"

Ugh, ugh, ugh...

Sad that Rihanna hasn't taken it up for "Women against Violence" - she could be such a great role model, especially for all these young girls who are too young to know what's right and wrong and think that it's o.k.

StuntGirl · 12/09/2012 01:46

It's not a sugar skull. This is a sugar skull.

What Chris Brown has is an unfortunate atrocity.

ComradeJing · 12/09/2012 02:02

He is exactly what is wrong with the patriarchy.

Watching hundreds cheer him at MTV awards (or whatever award it was) turned my stomach. I won't watch anything with him on it.

He is a utter twat of the highest order and should be skulking under a rock somewhere instead of celebrated.

ScumbagCollegeDropout · 12/09/2012 05:31

He is a fucking repulsive cunt.

And that tattoo is shit whatever it is meant to be

squoosh · 12/09/2012 10:24

I didn't link to the Daily Mail I linked to gawker actually.

He's a cunt and an abusive twat but I'm not seeing Rihanna in that tattoo in the slightest.
Looks like countless Mexican skull tattoos you'll see everywhere.

As for people saying they'd never heard of him before the violence (most likely completely true) the claims that he is only famous for the violence are a bit ludicrous. He'd had about 6 singles go to #1 in the billboard and 3 albums that had been #1/2 in the Billboard charts by that stage.

Nymia · 12/09/2012 10:58

I have no love for Chris Brown, but that's clearly not a beaten woman. It's a half-face, half-skull. The picture is pretty obvious.

It might not look like that (from a distance, in poor lighting), but it's irresponsible journalism to claim that it's a "beaten-up Rihanna tattoo if you half-close your eyes and squint a bit, OMG!!1!" and then use that as the headline for misleading articles in respectable newspapers. The Guardian is at it too among other dailies. They should be ashamed of themselves.

Oh and yes, it is a really badly drawn tattoo too. I understand the guy who did it is a self-proclaimed Celebrity Tattoo Artist To The Stars, but not one who is reliably any good. Brown is rich, why he didn't go and get a GOOD one done, if that's what he wanted, is the only incredible part.
