DD has had a few years of hell due to 3 particular girls at Primary. It got worse and worse over the years despite myself, the other mothers (well 1 of them anyway, or so she says) and the teachers doing what we could to stop it.

Now they are all at secondary together and I was dreading it on DD's behalf and DD's first morning was spent crying as she didnt want to go. I was only halfway through getting her changed into another school so felt helpless.

It turns out, she doesnt have any classes with any of them, they are not even in the same house. For the first time in years she's come home from school with a smile on her face.

I've no doubt that things may start up again with these girls but at least DD will have some respite away from them during lessons and these girls should get bored quicker as there will less time and contact to bully DD again.

I've stopped the school transfer for now and will see how she gets on, but if these girls start again, I have at least some idea of what I need to do if it gets that far.

I'll just finish off with saying Thank Fuck For That.

Great news. YANBU in the slightest.

I hope this is the start of a really positive school experience for her.

Great news! Are these 3 girls still all together in a class? if not then even better I'm sure they will just grow up a bit and without the backing of the others will forget about bullying your child. Fingers crossed x

As far as I know the minor of the two are in the same class but the ring leader isn't...I don't know if they have any classes together though.

Finger and toes are crossed.

In my children's junior school they used to write to the secondary school if they thought certain children shouldn't be in a class with particular other children. I wonder whether someone nice at your daughter's old school has done this?
