In thinking we should all take a moment out of our day to marvel at the wonder that is.........the nitty gritty comb ??

Such a simple concept yet so marvellous, the damn thing has saved my sanity today.

Clocked a big fat beastie on dds hair this morning as she was going out the door.......cue dd being dragged back in and me searching through her head. Gave a cursory swipe with a crap plastic comb, got very few, dug out the master and OMFG she was riddled with the damn things.

How ? How can you be riddled with things crawling about your head and not itch ? She def hasn't been itching, i'm assuming she picked them up at end of term.

That humble comb with its nifty design saved my sanity today, swipe after swipe bore lice or eggs, I feel like writing a thank you letter to the lady inventors.

I'm also giving thanks to the inventor if the tangle tamer and those microwave bags for veg.

The free metal tooth comb from the box of Full Marks works much better

I can't get the Nitty Gritty comb through my DDs afro hair so have to rely on Hedrin on the rare occasions they've caught them.

But I have used the comb on myself and it is very satisfying in a weird kind of way!

Tips to roots? Have I missed something (hopefully not any lice!)
