I think YABU I miss my children so much. I'm really happy it's the weekend now and I get two whole uninterrupted days with them Grin

Thing is, they're in school for around 200 days a year so we might as well enjoy it, otherwise we'll be miserable for the majority of the time :)

I live in NE Spain, Catalonia and the kids have 3 months summer holiday, so although I don't miss having to get everyone out of the house in the mornings, it's really great when they go back to school mid-Sept. They are also looking forward to seeing all their friends (even though they meet friends during the holidays, it isn't quite the same as being back with ALL your classmates altogether!).

nah, I like the holidays. It means DH gets to look after the DC and I get to go to work after getting up a whole hour later, meet them for lunch at the park and have 3 weeks holiday with my lovely family. So YABU
