I have a friend who has hardly any friends at all as it is. I have been very good to her in many ways, even though that is very one sided. I have been seeing someone I work with for the last month although the build upto this was a very long time. I really liked the guy and this friend knew how I was feeling. So anyway things were fizzling out between me and him and I was upset And genuinely confused as to why he was backing off. I had gotten my friend a job working with us recently also , and it now turns out they are seeing each other. Ainu to be really hurt, humiliated, confused and really want to extract some revenge?

It is a shame you have to see them every day in work.

Ignore them both. Keep in the back of your mind though that they will betray each other eventually and you can smile smugly when it happens.

YANBU to feel all of those emotions, but revenge is probably best left. Leave them looking like the assholes instead of risking looking like one yourself.Just look super hot each day and find lots of exciting things to do with your real mates. They will soon tire of each other.

I'm not surprised you're feeling low! Unfortunately other people's bad behaviour can make you feel like this when you've done nothing wrong, and it really reflects very poorly on the selfish buggers. If its any consolation, she's probably quite good at using people and taking people in, and he sounds like a spineless coward at not ending it with you properly first and being decent about it.

You might get revenge at a later date, but try not to do anything immediate, as its best to be in a really rational frame of mind. A good rant at how awful their behaviour was is probably as far as I would go. Mind you, I got the chance for revenge years later when my best friend at uni went off with the guy I'd started seeing. I really liked him and had told her so. Years later, I kept bumping into him, and on 3 seperate occasions, he tried to get me to have an affair with him. I also found out that he has one night stands with women he meets in clubs, despite being married to her with two young children. The real revenge is in seeing the change in him from an innocent 23 year old with the world at his feet to this sleazy cheater, and her having to put up with him.
