She is so professional and nice and I just wish she was in my TV more. I just think she seems like one of life's genuinely nice people. I wish she was my Aunt

She is aceness in Balding shaped form!

Absolutely love her. Never been arsed about sports presenters before but as a fellow 'orse person it's wonderful to see her getting the appraise she deserves!

Sallyingforth · 02/09/2012 10:09

I was told the most disgusting, filthy, obscene joke ever. It was about her and a horse. I'm not repeating it here though?

JugglingWithFiveRings · 03/09/2012 22:18

I wonder if she's heard it ?

Go Claire, still loving your contribution to the best Paralympics ever ... good to see David Cameron there to give Ellie her gold medal today !

Liketochat1 · 03/09/2012 22:35

I love her too. She's great.

Mumblepot26 · 04/09/2012 09:03

Love her too!! So nice to see a normal looking woman on telly!! Rather than a plastic über groomed clone. Although she could do with trendifying her hair a bit :)

JugglingWithBocciaBalls · 08/09/2012 22:20

I wondered if she'd seen your post and trendified her hair in last couple of days Mumble ? Grin

Thought I'd go for a quick name-change in respect of our great Boccia athletes, and all our paralympic heroes. I'm so inspired by these games and especially what they're doing to promote equality, respect, and understanding.

Pleased to see channel 4 responding to my new name with a great mini Boccia game today Grin where they talked us through the rules with the experts. The young lad - from Scotland ? - was great wasn't he ? Smile

Keep up the good work for the last few days team. Go, Go, Go, Get it !

RedBlanket · 08/09/2012 22:25

I've noticed her is a bit more bouffant than for the Olympics. Obviously jazzing it up for Channel 4.

Viperidae · 08/09/2012 22:27

I'm sorry to go against the flow but I really do not like her, not quite sure why, just don't.

ettiketti · 08/09/2012 22:28

She is lovely, my mum has played golf with her a lot as they are members at the same club.

I didn't like her a few years ago tho when my dad saw my new hair do and said I looked just like her!

RedBlanket · 08/09/2012 22:36

Ettiketti - that's not a compliment by any stretch of the imagination. Wink.

ettiketti · 09/09/2012 07:59

Exactly!!! DH still takes the piss now..."ooh look, mums on tv kids" Ho Ho Hmm

WhoremoaneeGOLDGrainger · 09/09/2012 11:15

I quite like her, but my 10 year old DD has a hissy fit everytime she comes on the telly. to quote DD "I cant stand that woman, she is on every channel I want to watch!"

JugglingWithBocciaBalls · 09/09/2012 19:43

Liking the new hair for the last night, Claire !

See, I knew she was lurking here Grin

Well done to all the team .... You've all been true Games Makers too ...

Alan Hills summed it up well ... Sydney was the first games where the paralympians truly able to compete as equals, London the first where they became our heroes.

Our finest hour !

LostInWales · 09/09/2012 19:47

Had to come and find a thread like this. She looks absolutely fantastic tonight. I'm going to miss her on my tv all the time.

Can't believe it's all over . What do I do without Adam Hills on my screen every evening before bed. I am in love with him and Claire Grin

JugglingWithBocciaBalls · 09/09/2012 20:05

Ah yes, LostInWales I see you're right that it's Adam Hills. Blush

(Yes, he's good company isn't he ?)

Sorry to all, I'm not good with names goldfish brain

Still, it's all been awesome hasn't it ?

livealoha · 09/09/2012 20:08

I think she's fab too Grin

Steth · 09/09/2012 20:16

I like her but her hairstyle always reminds me of something that would be more suited to Donald Trump!

TheFallenMadonna · 09/09/2012 20:17

She gave flowers at one of the medal ceremonies in the stadium on Saturday, and got a huge cheer when she was introduced.

schnauzerfan · 09/09/2012 20:20

Bloody love her. National treasure. True professional.

ICutMyFootOnOccamsRazor · 09/09/2012 20:23

YANBU. She's great.

LostInWales · 09/09/2012 20:49

Seth check out her hair tonight, it's all sleek and modern yet still very Claire. She should be my best friend.

God I'm going to miss all this, didn't it all go so brilliantly?

Bossybritches22 · 09/09/2012 20:57

LostinWales

YES that's my thoughts exactly -it's all been so well organized uplifitng & inspiring Ii think it's been JUST what we all needed & made it a fab summer. I knnow we've all got crap RL to get back to but it's been a wonderful experience.

And Claire has been luffly & I'm beside myself that I have tickets to hear her talk aboout her book at Henley Literary festival. Grin

LostInWales · 09/09/2012 21:10

Yeah Bossy, after all the 'It won't be built in time, it's expensive and crap, we're going to have a shit opening ceremony and the roads will be gridlocked and they've chosen all the wrong athletes.'. Well it's been bloody marvellous from the first minute of the opening ceremony, marvellous Grin. and Claire and Adam have been a huge bonus

slartybartfast · 09/09/2012 21:15

need the last leg every night

LostInWales · 09/09/2012 21:23

Oh yes, The Last Leg has been one of the best things ever. Do you think Adam is single? not that I am but I could make an exception
