Knock on the door yesterday morning. Newish neighbour from down the road a bit standing there explaining that he had accidentally scraped the side of our car while parking (we live on a very narrow street). DH goes out to have a look and says not to worry, there are worse scrapes on the car already (we live on a very narrow street).

Knock on the door a few hours later. Neighbour again, this time brandishing a tube of Tcut and a bottle of wine.

What a nice man and as DH pointed out completely unnecessary as we'd never have known if he hadn't fessed up. Just thought I'd share as I thought AIBU could do with a bit of cheering up today.

Can i join in?

Today I took the kids to the park and while we were there some people sat having a picnic offered me a slice of their chocolate cake. Never meet them before and will never meet them again (probably, they looked/sounded like tourists), so a proper random act of kindness/generosity.

How lovely :)

My best RAOC was when I took toddler DS into a posh deli and he grabbed one of the v expensive brownies they had on display (£3 a piece) and took a mahoosive bite while I was buying some cheese.

I was mortified but the lovely man behind the counter said they were obviously too tempting and he could have it for nothing Shock

Aww, I like a nice thread.
I'm glad some people have a nice day, not that mine's been bad, it's been fine.
