To dump two frozen, whole grouse, somewhere in town, with a sign around their neck saying "I am Famous"?

Should I?

Or is this a sick practical joke to play on unsuspecting towns people coming to do their saturday shopping?

I have been emptying out my fathers old chest freezer, long overdue I might add. And found the two delights in a plastic bag.

How do you dispose of dead (shot) grouse in a decent manner??

Duck

Magpie

Wood Pigeon

There is clearly a gap in the market for Grouse.

WTF though?

Your thread title has to be one of the best I've ever seen Grin

But I still dont know what to do with my dads birds.

I had to make an inventory of foods, and stupidly put them on it. Lets keep our fingers crossed he wont want them for dinner tomorrow.

My lamb in cabbage stew conundrum still have me fart like guy fawkes .

No. That certainly seems a reasonable and sensible thing to do.

SPsFanjoSponsoredByFemFresh · 01/09/2012 00:53

Use them as cricket bats while still frozen!

Once defrosted dress them up, spray one with perfume and the other with aftershave and leave outside a pub. People go home with all sorts after too many drinks Grin

Lovelygoldboots · 01/09/2012 10:20

Put lipstick on them, stick them on the bar of your nearest boozer with a note that says "I'm a game bird".

QuintessentialShadows · 01/09/2012 20:48

Birds dont have lips. At least not these types of birds!

I just don't think these things through properly Grin

I'm not a pheasant plucker
I'm a pheasant pluckers mate
I'm only plucking pheasants
Cos the pheasant pluckers late

CouthyMowWearingOrange · 01/09/2012 23:59

Quint - I frequently found Grouse in my garden when I lived in Uig. Though not as scary as the time I came face to face with Hector the highland cow on the driveway...

I'll be plucking pheasants
'till the pheasant pluckings done

Grin

A few years ago there was a thread started on here after someone found tiny taxidermy mice that had been made into fridge magnets being sold on e-bay Shock and a litte bit gross.

QuintessentialShadows · 02/09/2012 20:21

This thread has opened up a dimension of eBay that I wish I had never discovered.
