To feel really sorry for myself

Iabu I know but I'm in day 3 of a 103/104 temperature. I'm told it's tonnsilitis, I can't swallow and I'm nauseous. Anti biotics don't seem to have made a jot of difference. I'm sweating like a racehorse and above all I'm suffering from leaky eyes cause I am so so so sorry for myself and I'm crying hot tears of self pity.
I'm finally on my hols after going back working 3 weeks after DD was born nearly 10 months ago.

One of the days I took nearly twice the recommended 8. I was mithered with the high temperature and didn't realise of gone so far over. I've been sticking to the 8/day yesterday and today.
I feel like an idiot. I wouldn't normally be reckless about stuff like that but I just wasn't thinking properly.
Far as I know codeine isn't OTC here either but I'll check it.

Get Solpadine - they are codeine and paracetamol, available OTC here in Ireland and come in dissolveable sachets which means you won't have a huge pill to swallow.

It's very easy to overdose on paracetamol. If you're underweight or malnourished or drinking a lot of alcohol it's even easier to take more than your liver can handle.

You can take ibuprofen with paracetamol & it can help with your temperature too.

Thanks everyone. Just got some Solpadeine. Here's hoping they're basically magic!

Good, Hope the Solpadine help. They worked for me when I had a monstrously bad toothache.
