U dropped into a local community parenting type place today to find out what they've got going on. Just had ds2 and used to go to a lot of groups that they used to run when ds1 was a baby.
Anyway the work they do is quite similar to what I do for a living. I got introduced to the new parent activities coordinator to talk about groups. She said she didn't have much planned as she's leaving soon.
My ears pricked up! I've always wanted to work there. So I asked her about her qualifications and hours she worked and what the criteria was for her role. The role she's not even left yet.
That was quite rude of me wasn't it?
