towtally Oi tell yow!

LineRunner · 16/08/2012 22:36

I turned it over as well. Awful presenting.

SuperTressy · 16/08/2012 22:37

YANBU. I can't stand him. Especially after what he did to Rolf at the Jubilee concert.

LineRunner · 16/08/2012 22:38

I'd forgotten Rolfgate.

bogeyface · 16/08/2012 22:42

Used to love him, he was great but not now.

I couldnt work out why I didnt like him anymore and DH (black) said "He is all "roots"" which I didnt understand tbh! He said that he is focussing on his brothers and sisters and his colour and heritage, rather than what he used to do before, which was use that in his comedy but not making it the sole focus. Having watched his stand up since, I think he is partly correct.

But I also think that it is partly that he has lost interest and does these gigs for the money, so his heart isnt in it.

bogeyface · 16/08/2012 22:43

Rolfgate was unforgivable.

Moln · 16/08/2012 22:44

Rolfgate?

Eh?

Am I going to look this scandal?

LineRunner · 16/08/2012 22:52

Yes, you need to look at Rolfgate. Two Little Boys, and one big interrupting knobber.

HipHopOpotomus · 16/08/2012 23:01

He's not funny.
And Big and Small is worst kids show ever and v annoying.

Cremolavelodrome · 16/08/2012 23:02

Put this way, Dawn made the right decision to cut her losses.
Even premier inn have dumped him

tartyflette · 16/08/2012 23:08

Ooo, Cremola does that mean you have some inside info there?

PomBearWithAnOFRS · 17/08/2012 00:14

It's a shame the gorgeous Roger from Superstar was already married or Dawn could have tripped him up and been under him before he hit the floor let him woo her and they could have lived happily ever after in a Lenny free world Grin

LineRunner · 17/08/2012 00:24

Did Lenny let Dawn down in some way?

AmberLeaf · 17/08/2012 00:29

Didn't he have loads of shags in cheap hotels affairs?

NadiaWadia · 17/08/2012 02:31

Welll I always liked him. He just seems a nice bloke (and funny).

So therefore YABU

iMoniker · 17/08/2012 02:33

I saw him live, 2 years ago in Brisbane. He was very funny.

YANBU to have your own opinion though.

flatpackhamster · 17/08/2012 07:56

Euphemia

Why the heck does he keep popping up?

Because the BBC has a check-list for its comedians and if you fit the criteria you're in.

KittyFane1 · 17/08/2012 08:10

even premier inn dumped him :o
Not funny, irritating and I hate that screechy noise too.
As for RolfGate, horrible man. Poor Rolf. :(

Rolfgate = Rolf Harris!

Compared to Rolf, Lenny is better, Rolf has always been irritating and unfunny. Though I'll watch that link now and see if I feel sorry for him.

I think Lenny seems like a nice guy, just not funny anymore. humour changes, you justhave to look at the popular comidians from the 60s and 70s to see that. Maybe he's better for his own gigs.

MagicHouse · 17/08/2012 10:15

I never found LH very funny - somehow I always expected too, but never did. There's something quite likeable about him, though. (Though that link did him no favours with all the fake smiling and laughing)

Moln · 17/08/2012 10:46

He interputed Two Liittle Boys?

Personally I think he should get an award, though he deserves bad press for not stopping it earlier! Two Little Boys is used to break international spies isn't it?

LineRunner · 17/08/2012 10:58

I am an international spy and Two Little Boys has always hardened my resolve, Moln.
