LOL at margary's reaction about having a fit if a toddler gets a chip!

Moominsarescary · 16/08/2012 08:37

My 17 year old knows and has done for years, that if he buys something to eat that his brothers will hang their noses over he has to give them some. It wouldn't have hurt him to give them a bit.

PedanticPanda · 16/08/2012 08:41

Yabu, it's his lunch.

BrianButterfield · 16/08/2012 08:44

Gamerwidow - exactly, he proably felt like he was being very considerate by sorting his own lunch out and not asking his sister for anything. Honestly, teenagers are damned if they do and damned if they don't sometimes. I'm not all that thrilled about sharing my food with my own DC, let alone someone else's!

AmberLeaf · 16/08/2012 08:46

YABU.

Feed your kids yourself!

redandyellowbits · 16/08/2012 08:53

YANBU. It's his lunch not its your house! A few stray chips in the DCs direction would not have hurt him, it's basic manners to share.

If it was me I would have ordered my baby brother to share his food with me and not let him get away with that.

redandyellowbits · 16/08/2012 08:54

That should have said its his lunch BUT it's your house. Autocorrect fail.

FoofyShmooffer · 16/08/2012 08:55

It wouldn't have harmed to say " don't be mean give them a chip"

And "kids one chip each then leave him alone".

He's 15. Can't you speak directly to him? and 15 or not why would begrudge two little ones having a chip each?
