He went for a run earlier and stepped in dog shit then came in and put his shoes in the washing machine! I think it's just horrible and have just put the machine on again on a hot wash without anything in it, tbh if I could have put bleach in it I would have!

Dogs, let's blame dogs.

MrsKeithRichards · 14/08/2012 22:45

Fucking humans.

Alliwantisaroomsomewhere · 14/08/2012 22:50

Bloody men! I agree! YANBU! Grin

I love a good generalisationGrin.

EngeldinkHumpabert · 14/08/2012 22:52

Would you rather he had scraped it off into the kitchen sink with a dinner knife?

shezzle · 15/08/2012 00:12

I wouldn't put dog poo in my machine

AdoraBell · 15/08/2012 05:01

Oi Fallen that's not fair, blaming all dogsShock mine are lovely and they only shit in my garden so I know OP's DH didn't get the shit from any of mine.Wink

Besides, poo is poo and if dodgy underwear and washable nappies can go in a machine I really can't see the problem here. Just do a boil/hot wash afterwards.

CouthyMow · 15/08/2012 07:20

I get then from Tesco. They're in a green packet. They're good for unblocking your sink too - just put a scoop in the plug hole, and pour hot kettle water over it.

It's funny me giving household tips - I'm know for being a bit of a slattern! Grin

CouthyMow · 15/08/2012 07:22

Fallen - does he want to have a go at my washing?! I can have 30 loads a week here, ready and waiting...I bloody hate laundry! Grin

advisemewisely · 15/08/2012 08:08

How do you get 30 loads a week?

CouthyMow · 15/08/2012 09:07

Erm, 5 people, one soiled due to SN, another food spiller due to SN, a messy toddler, bedding for 5 beds, including a bed wetter, towels, school clothes, normal clothes, pyjamas...it soon mounts up!!

madda · 15/08/2012 12:13

I've taken to the idea of telling the DCs jumpers/tops OFF at mealtimes, if we're at home, theyre still little and quite messy still but they eat well so dont really care too much about the mess anymore, as long as they just chat and eat and sit well, I think I'm doing ok!

has helped my laundry loads a tiny bit, not much tho

MissFaversam · 15/08/2012 12:35

I sort of know where the OP is coming from. I wouldn't put shitty trainers in the washing machine either. If son ever had the squits I'd rinse off most of it THEN put clothing in the machine.

Did he at least scrape most of the shit off first?

God know's why everyone is jumping on op all afronted coz she said "Bloody Men". Due to it being AIBU I guess.

I'll top that saying for you OP "All men are bastards" Grin

BsshBossh · 15/08/2012 13:16

YABU for "bloody men". Not all men would do this!

SoleSource · 15/08/2012 13:38
