To tell DS not to say 'sexy'?

He put on my work boots earlier.

Nothwithstanding the 'mum' ness of said ankle boots, he pranced about saying 'I'm a sexy lady'.

Catsbum-mouth from me, and I told him that 'sexy' is not a word for children and I will tell him off if he says it again.

It's a horrible word for children. I explained what it meant -that was tricky, he's 5, and told him that the word is for grown ups and I don't want to hear him say it.

Gak.

why would he do that? He was making stuff up all the time that probably sounded pretty ridiculous at the time.

lost me there mrs

Yeah that sentence is a bit ugly, my excuse is I'm trying to watch the diving at the same time. I'll try again.

Why would Shakespeare roll in his grave at

"He's hench

He's got swag

She's butters

Phoooar ream

He's a melt"

When he was writing, he made up all sorts of words and phrases that probably sounded a bit ridiculous at the time.

Fair enough OP, I think there are words that we all dislike hearing children use, I am not actually religious but absolutely hate hearing children use 'oh my god' or 'jesus christ'.

Maybe I just think there's plenty of time for sex-ed and I just feel at 5 they should be children for just a little bit longer. My young boys still think willies and bums are funny and I am happy with it like that for now I guess.
