Other countries need not bother entering-my three Ds would get gold, silver and bronze. They would work as a team creating a slipstream of mess and no one else would get a look in let alone a place on the podium!

What about UNsynchronised splashing? Our bathroom looks like a tidal wave has swept through after bathtime.

eek Bartlet DS1 could enter that category too. the paintwork on the wall opposite the bath has a lovely splashy pattern.

(PS how are you? :))

A more artistic event, that dd2 would do well in, would be food art. On walls, floor, curtains etc. I think she could probably do the long distance food hurling too Smile

(Hi, jaggy. Nice to bump into you. 12/40 with DC3 hopefully, scan next week so anxious after what happened last time but we'll see... Smile You doing alright? Seems like a long time since the TTC/BFing thread!)

jaggythistle · 10/08/2012 18:07

(everything crossed for scan next week, you must be so nervous to get it over with. :( I'm good, currently bfing 16 week old DS2, who seems very hungry today and has been attached for ages here. the ttc thread does seem a very long time ago! I'm still trying to keep up with all the brooking too.)

Ds2 could win the destroy a room in nanoseconds contest - if he's looking for something he will tip every drawer onto the floor within moments. And probably miss what he is looking for as he has done it so fast - and so he'll then make it even worse by stirring it to see if he can find it.

Ds1 on the otherhand is a demon when it comes to paper - in the last week I have found the whole lounge floor covered in A4 variously sellotaped into different fields of play for the playmobil Olympics, including discus, javelin, long jump, archery, bmx track etc and of course the running track around the edge of the room. Not a single inch of uncovered space.

Meanwhile upstairs he has chopped thousands of little squares of paper about 1-2cm in size. These (until dh finally blew up at him yesterday having both asked him nicely for several days and been ignored) were enough in number both to sculpt - not just mark out - a complete roadway system and provide more for his legion of diggers, dumpertrucks etc to have fun in a diggerland style set up...

I think my DS3, 18mo would win in the ultimate destructor Olympic event. In the space of 3 days last week, he managed to throw my printer on the floor, smashing it, pull the front off the TV unit drawer and break the dowel holes, this rendering it unfixable, then pour a pint glass of orange juice over his dad's laptop.

All three events occurring with timing Usain Bolt would be proud of, two during speedy toilet trips by parents, and one while washing lunch plates!

I'm sure he would collect Gold!

Gingefringe · 10/08/2012 19:22

My DH would get a gold in putting DVD's and CD's in the wrong cases!! GRRR - nothing is ever in the right case in our house.

WhispersOfWickedness · 10/08/2012 20:22

Ginge- my DH hates that, they all have to be in the correct cases here. He leaves the rest of the house similar to some on 'how clean is your house', mind, but as long as the DVDs are in their correct cases, eh...Hmm
