to be so disorganised about my holiday?

We are leaving the house 6am Sunday for two weeks in Italy.

So far I have done nothing, NOTHING, not.a.single thing towards this holiday except for arranging pet care and cancelling the milk.

Packing for holidays is my ultimate procrastination project and I always imagine other Mumsnetters are impeccably organised over things like this.

How should I start?

Shall I make a list?

Make the kids make their own lists.

a leetle I have just seen it written down and now consider myself a bit of a loon

See I don't think I'm at all weird about washing (unlike a friend who separates pink underwear from peach because any fule kno that's a "completely different colour altogether") but actually, I wash all my towels together too.

Not by choice really but cos I have a 14 year old dd who uses approximately 6 towels a day, so its easier to wash them together :(

I tend to do a seperate towel wash simply because of the amount of them. They NEVER go on the line though, towels need to be tumble dried to be lovely and fluffy

I do whites and pastels together, doesn't everybody? Brights and darks go together too and cardigans go in whichever wash their colour goes with!

To clarify my last post. I don't think its strange to seperate washing and wash towels on their own- I put my towels through a hot wash so I tend to seperate them.

It was just the idea of having only towels on the washing line that seemed, well just slightly erm, strange .

We leave sat am, away for 6 weeks, haven't started packing yet. Will do fri as always
