She is 14 months old and still BF - largely because she won't accept a drink in any other form. Not a bottle, not a beaker, not a cup, nada.

She eats all kinds of solids heartily, no problems there. Just won't let a drop of liquid pass her lips other than by BF. Today she spent from 7.30 am to 4.30 pm away from me, and still wouldn't give in - batted away the beaker crossly whenever offered, apparently.

I know AIBU isn't the forum for advice, but if anyone has any, it will be gratefully received...

Home made Ice lollies and jelly are both great for hydrating non drinkers. Open cups and straws finally broke my two.

I hadn't thought of trying her with a straw - will do that.

I have a doidy cup but she just throws it around and spills everywhere.

The boys drink out of china mugs, and she'll just drop it on the floor if I give her one of those. I could try getting them to use plastic ones perhaps and give her one too. Or perhaps I'll find a plastic mug that looks like their china ones.

Some good suggestions here, I will persevere. I have to be away for 36 hours in November, and am already anxious at the thought she won't be drinking by then (yes, I know it's a long time away!)
